Backpack is gone

今天访问 37signals 页面的时候发现了有趣的事情，之前的四大拳头产品只剩下了三个，把一直被称作鸡肋的 Backpack 砍掉了。

为什么称之为鸡肋呢？本质上 Backpack 就是个团队内部储存文档的工具而已，但是它的定位一直很模糊，还捏造出一堆类似 Pages / Newsroom 的奇怪概念，同时 Basecamp 也能实现它的大部分功能。

最过分的是 Backpack 的联动性很差，很难跟其他几个 app 配合使用，同时价格也是贵得离谱，居然还是按照 Pages 和人头来收费的。因此，Basecamp Next 一出，加入了强大的 Document 功能，Backpack 被砍也就是板上钉钉的事情了。
